I went back to using the proxy without PIA running and so far it's been working good with pretty good speeds. Man I dunno what's up with PIA but trying a torrent with PIA running with no proxy absolutely kills my download speeds. I can torrent without PIA running (no proxy) and get 4.5 mb/s and with PIA on (no proxy), it drops to about 300 kb/s. With PIA off using proxy, I can get 2-3 mb/s. Even though I feel much safer with PIA on, PIA is just killing my speeds.

PIA should change their logo to the skull and crossbones cause that's what it does to my speeds. PIA says you may drop 10%-50% using the VPN. In my case PIA drops me about 90%. Sometimes the connection with PIA running will start out decent but then dive to the basement within an hour.
